A Deep Trash Classification Model on Raspberry Pi 4

Environmental pollution has had substantial impacts on human life, and trash is one of the main sources such in most countries. Trash classification from a collection images can limit overloading garbage disposal systems efficiently promote recycling activities; thus, development system topical urgent. This paper proposed an effective that relies module embedded hard-ware setup to classify real time. An image dataset first augmented enhance before classifying them as either inorganic or organic trash. The deep learning–based ResNet-50 model, improved version ResNet used images. experimental results, which are tested both time, show average accuracy 96%, higher than related models. Moreover, integrating into Raspberry Pi computer, controlled bin slide so fell appropriate for waste, created complete system. proves efficiency high applicability
